Welcome to Ryton Star Football Club

Ryton Star Football Club was founded in 1903 by Reverend Alfred Starkey (hence the name Ryton Star) who was the vicar of Ryton on Dunsmore for some 41 years.

The club was initially set up after a fundraising dance held in the school room on New Years Eve 1903, where 60 to 70 residents came together to help raise money in aid of Ryton Star F.C.

In 2017, Ryton Star Football Club has been re-established and we welcome any junior players aged 5 years and above.  

Ryton on Dunsmore has a great community spirit and good facilities and by re-starting the club we hope to get more children active and  parents involved in the village community.
